This was a remarkable experience...the people, lodging, Mayan guides, food, jungle, cultural experience...Thank you Belize Lodge for one of the most wonderful experiences ever. This is not just a vacation - it truly is an experience and lifetime memory.
It's important to get outside of our "US Bubble" and be in nature - see the rain forest and learn of the many plants that were foundational in the development of many modern medicines...to understand the significance of the delicate balance of the ecosystem and it's impact on our air, land, water and plants. Awesome.
And...the accomodations, food and service are exceptional. Thank you all for your graciousness.

We arrived home from our trip last night and I wanted to write to you as soon as possible to let you know that Ron and I had one of the best experiences ever! The accommodations, activities and most important, all of the men and women who attended to our every need were just incredible. It was hard to leave one location to go to the next, but we would find new faces with smiles waiting for us and then when we were at Moho Cay we had the luck to have Nathaniel, Vicente, Diana and Cecilia join us again. Your organization has done a great job in assembling a wonderful mix of people to accommodate your guest and we appreciated everyone of them..Angela,Sara,Pablo,Saniago,Ambrosia,Salome,Steve,Roberto,Rick and Hilia along with those I've already mentioned and hopefully I haven't left anyone out. Our snorkeling trip to the Barrier Reef was filled with wonderful surprises, a Nurse Shark and a collection of the most colorful fish and coral. The swin in the Blue Creek Cave with Nathaniel was both scary (only at the beginning) and refreshing, not to mention,a first for Ron and I. We were able to enjoy an early morning adventure 85' up on the tree platform while in Jungle Camp and spotted some Kell-billed Toucan, Red-lored Parrot, Lineated Woodpecker and gaze out at the jungle from above with the Mayan Mountains in the distance. The meals prepared for us by Angela (Ballum Na Diane (Jungle Camp)and Steve at Moho Cay were always delicious and I even left Moho Cay with two of Steve's recipes!
Thank you again for an experience we will always remember and new friends we can never forget.

We just returned from our trip to Belize. We had a wonderful time.
Your lodges are beautiful and the staff was wonderful. A few of the
staff were with us through out our trip and were wonderful to us.
Vicente is one such example of that. The chef, Steve, was very
talented. The opportunity to see the villages that some of the
workers were from as well as the ruins were of great interest to our
family and a real educational experience for our children.

Well it has been real close to 2 years since my husband and I visited BLE for our Honymoon! The trip was amazing - the staff was most accomidating and the food was great. I was looking through my saved "favorites" on my computer today and ran across this website and was reminded of what a faboulous trip it was - the pictures are just as I remember our staying being - wanted to finally post on what a great vacation and what a great website showing exactly what you expect. If you think it is beautiful - wait until your there and can breathe the fresh air - ahhhhhhh

We have stayed here with friends....we had a wonderful time and will recommend this place to everyone we know. Compliments to the staff.

I had the most magnificint time . I know I am going back again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an amazing vacation! We all loved it! Sometimes it even seemed surreal. (My husband didn't work while on vacation for the first time in perhaps 20 years.) I am NOT adventurous. I love my safety and comfort, and I admit I was a little worried about this adventure that my son had arranged. Small planes? Jungles? Away from Civilization? I loved this! The BLE staff was so great I never worried about a thing. The accommodations were perfect - the comforts of home, the class of 5 star resorts, and a design and feel that melted into the surroundings. The trip was almost worth taking just to see the accommodations. Mayan ruins, swimming in the cave (one of my favorite things I've ever done), canoing into the jungle, enjoying our own private island, and snorkeling on one of the worlds great barrier reefs ? loved it all! Also loved just enjoying the beauty, peace, and people we were with. It's a remarkable conservation effort that I hope to revisit with my other children.

This was the second time that we have brought a small group of friends to BLE and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the chance to experience the three lodges, each presenting an entirely different aspect of Belize. This group included eleven people ranging from 12 to 81 and each person found a variety of attractions and activities that especially appealed to them. Belize Lodge and Excursions is truly unique in terms of its conservation ethic -- saving over 20 square miles of critical habitat in its private nature reserve -- and making it available to guests.

The trip was unforgettable! Each lodge and experience was unique, but all shared the warmth of wonderful staff members and knowledgeable guides. Especially loved floating down Golden Stream, the haunting ruins of Nim Li Punit, and the amazing underwater sights at the reef. How wonderful that these jewels of nature are now protected for the foreseeable future. We hope to be back to enjoy it all again.

After a truly amazing trip in January 2008, we have decided to return to BLE in January 2010 for another nine days at your spectacular lodges. Thank you to your entire staff for making our stay so fun, interesting, and relaxing. Your knowledgeable and professional local guides made this a one of a kind experience! So special, in fact, that even we late-sleeping non-birders were getting up before dawn to go out in guided canoes and learn about the birds of Belize. Many thanks, and we look forward to seeing you in 2010.

We are simply speechless! Thank you all for making our honeymoon the experience of a lifetime. We're still looking at each other wondering if our stay with Belize Lodge was all just a fabulous dream. Amazing locations, gorgeous accommodations, top notch service and five star dining! It was all breathtaking. We can't thank you enough and we'll be sure to return.

Our stay was absolutely AMAZING! We wanted something that was adventurous without sacrificing comfort and that is exactly what we got! The food was top notch, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the setting was spectacular! Thank you so much for giving us a vacation we will NEVER forget!

Thanks so much for a truly superb six days. I'm a sometime birder, and in the first three days and one morning, I saw 55 new species. That was an experience I never had before and never expect to have again. Much of that was due to the extraordinary skills of your guides. Moreover, each of the lodges, and especially Jungle Camp, was a gem. One of the best vacations ever.

This trip was just what we were looking for in ecological terms and it more than exceeded our expectations. The concept behind the conservation and protection of the area is a wonderful change in this world of 'vacation resorts'. The lodges are truly amazing, the food an unexpected surprise given the remote locations and the staff so friendly and professional. Belize Lodge is a gem in the middle of paradise and we will return again.

Wow, this is one amazing lodge! The location and set-up is absolutely gorgeous! The crew, well, can't say too much about them except that they were incredibly nice, patient and friendly! The one thing we would suggest is name tags! This was an amazing experience and our friends will hear nothing but good things!

The lodges are beautiful. The staff is very nice, they answered my questions gracefully. Some are clearly more confident in their jobs than others but they all did their jobs earnestly. We have really enjoyed our trip. The Indian Creek cabin was gorgeous. Our overall experience was fantasic, it really could not have been better. I was a little concerned when booking this trip since I could not find any reviews from actual people who had been there. So, in order to help out any other people looking to visit your lodge we'd be more than happy to serve as a reference for future guests.
